This linear motor foundation is what allows SPEA testers to sustain both very high speed and long-term mechanical accuracy.

Four Machines, From NPI to High-Volume Production

Customers can choose the flying probe tester that best matches their production, based on throughput requirements, single- or dual-side board contacting, and product type.

Platforms:

• 4080 – SPEA’s highest-throughput and highest-accuracy model, with 8 multi-function dual-side flying heads (4 top + 4 bottom), up to 180 touches/sec, a minimum pad size of 50 µm, and a natural granite chassis for vibration-free high-speed probing in a 2.2 m² footprint.
• 4060 S2 – A 6-axis dual-side tester (4 top + 2 bottom heads) with an extra-large test area up to 1,524 × 610mm and an extended input conveyor for comfortably loading large, heavy boards.
• 4050 S2 – A 4-axis tester for medium-to-high-volume production, with very high probing speed, automatic and manual board loading, and a multi-jig bottom moving platform to extend probing capabilities.
• 4020 S2 – A 4-axis tester designed for NPI, prototypes, and medium-volume production, delivering a wide range of test capabilities and high probing accuracy in a cost-saving multifunction package.

SPEA flying probe testers can be equipped with a wide range of top and bottom jigs, enabling the simultaneous performance of different test techniques with 100% reliability.
